LPU Republic Day Celebration and the Launch of "Edu Rev" Initiative

Lovely Professional University (LPU) recently celebrated India’s Republic Day with immense zeal, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to commemorate the nation’s rich heritage and democratic values. The grand event, held on January 26, was a vibrant display of patriotism, unity, and the indomitable spirit of India. The LPU campus was adorned with national flags, and the atmosphere resonated with a sense of pride and national pride. The celebration commenced with the official flag hoisting ceremony, which was attended by LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal, Pro Chancellor Rashmi Mittal, and other distinguished university officials. As the national flag was unfurled, the audience stood in reverence, and the national anthem was sung with utmost respect and devotion. The ceremony was followed by a series of cultural performances that reflected the diversity and vibrancy of India. Students from various departments presented colorful dances, musical performances, and skits, all of which paid tribute to India’s unity in diversity. A key moment in the celebration was Ashok Mittal’s address to the gathered audience.

In his speech, he highlighted the importance of Republic Day as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the country’s freedom fighters and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. He emphasized that the essence of Republic Day is not just about celebrating the country’s independence, but also about reaffirming the commitment to justice, equality, and freedom for all citizens. He also stressed the crucial role of education in shaping the future of India and empowering the youth to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth. In addition to cultural performances, the event featured a number of activities, including speeches by students and faculty members, who reflected on the significance of Republic Day and the importance of contributing to the nation’s progress. The LPU community came together to honor India’s Constitution and the democratic ideals it represents.
